Heritage building, major house, past meet with present. Surrounding by tall building, Chandra Naya looks like a hidden gem. This building was an old house of the last Batavia Chinese Major, Khouw Kim An. Because of its uniqueness, the government preserved a third of the major's house and set it as a heritage building. It is located about 2 km south of the mosque. You can drive there in about 5 minutes. It is a popular shopping mall for locals living in Jakarta.
